User Profiles

Your user profile is your public identity on MyKofre. This guide explains how to create, edit, and manage your profile information.

Profile Components

Your MyKofre profile consists of several components:

Display Name

Your display name is the name shown on your profile and throughout the platform. This can be your real name, artist name, or any name you choose. It's visible to all users on the platform.

Username

Your username is a unique identifier used in your profile URL (e.g., mykofre.com/u/yourusername). Usernames must be unique and typically cannot be changed after creation. Choose a username that represents you or your brand.

Bio

Your bio is an optional description about yourself, your work, or your brand. This is displayed on your public profile and helps visitors learn more about you. You can include information about your creative work, interests, or anything relevant to your presence on MyKofre.

Avatar

Your avatar is your profile picture. This image appears next to your name throughout the platform and on your public profile. Recommended size: 400x400 pixels. Supported formats: PNG, JPEG, WebP.

External Link

You can add an optional external link to your profile, such as your website, social media, or portfolio. This link appears on your public profile and allows visitors to learn more about you outside of MyKofre.

Creating Your Profile

After creating your account, you can set up your profile:

  1. Navigate to your profile settings or account page
  2. Click "Edit Profile" or similar option
  3. Fill in your display name, username, and optional bio
  4. Upload an avatar image (optional but recommended)
  5. Add an external link if desired
  6. Save your changes

Editing Your Profile

You can edit your profile information at any time. Most profile fields can be updated freely, though some restrictions may apply:

  • Display Name: Can be changed at any time
  • Username: May be limited in how often it can be changed
  • Bio: Can be updated at any time
  • Avatar: Can be changed at any time
  • External Link: Can be updated at any time

Public Profile (KOFRES)

Your public profile, also known as your KOFRES storefront, is where visitors can see:

  • Your profile information (name, bio, avatar)
  • All your published products
  • Your external link (if provided)
  • Product statistics (if visible)

Your public profile URL follows the format: mykofre.com/u/yourusername

Profile Best Practices

  • Use a clear display name: Choose a name that's easy to remember and represents you or your brand
  • Choose a memorable username: Your username appears in your URL - make it professional and easy to share
  • Write a compelling bio: Help visitors understand who you are and what you create
  • Use a high-quality avatar: A clear, professional profile picture helps build trust
  • Keep information updated: Regularly update your profile to reflect current information

Privacy Considerations

Your profile information is public by default. Anyone can view your:

  • Display name
  • Username
  • Bio
  • Avatar
  • Published products
  • External link

Only include information you're comfortable sharing publicly. Your email address and other account details remain private.
